We offer a unique travelling experience. We run tours for small groups (in Europe we only use 9 seat mini-vans) which means we stay in boutique, character hotels at the majority of our destinations. We eat in local restaurants and travel the back roads as much as possible. As a small group, if someone sees or hears of something on tour that they want to do, if it can be fitted in, we will do it. We do not believe in herding our travellers like sheep.

The object is for everyone to have the holiday they would have done on their own, but with someone on hand who knows the ropes and the area, to do the driving, look after all the travel arrangements and make sure that everyone has an experience that they will never forget.

It's not all motorsport

While our motoring tours might have a theme - Le Mans, Italian Grand Prix, they are so much more than a "Boys' Own" trip from race track to car museum. Europe is so much more than this and we make sure that our tours take in as much of the history and culture of the areas we pass through as can be fitted it to the time we have. And there are always alternative was to spend you day with us. When the main group has gone to the Matra Museum, others have had a leisurely day exploring the town of Amboise, where we stay. Likewise, if one day at Le Mans is enough for you, we are staying in Tours, a town which you can easily spend a day exploring.

We cater for all tastes and don't believe in herding you, our passengers, like a bunch of sheep. This is more like your personal holiday, with Tony there to offer advice where needed, and make sure you don't do anything you really don't want to. You have paid a lot of money for a unique experience and it's our flexibility and years of travelling experience which makes Tours by Tony different to any other tour you might see!

Or if you want us to book a trip using our experience and expertise, but travel on your own, we can do that too.

Tours by Tony is a genuine one-stop shop. We can look after internal flights, ferries, even inbound flights to New Zealand, if you want to travel as a group and have an all-inclusive price from your home country.

If you are wanting to tour in your own cars, we can arrange shipping for you if required, with a company well versed in the movement of unusual and valuable cars.

We have contacts with New Zealand Customs to ensure that all the entry requirements for you and your cars are met.
